June 3: Applications Open
UCSF Health Hub will start accepting company submissions starting June 3, 2020 across 15 selected award categories. We are seeking to find the most innovative in-market digital health solutions in the US that are radically transforming healthcare by making healthcare faster, better, simpler and cheaper, that has also been proven in improving patient outcomes.
We are looking for mature companies with in-market products or solutions that have been used by a substantial number of patients and healthcare providers and have been verified by a validation study or clinical trial.
August 3: Applications Close
Company submissions will close on August 3, 2020, at 11:59 PM. Please note that no extensions will be provided. The system will automatically prevent entry submission after the deadline.
August 4: Judging Begins
Our panel of 250+ eminent judges will be choosing the top 14 submissions in each category as quarter-finalists after a thorough review. For more details on the judging process and criteria, click here.
August 27-28: Quarter-Finalists Announced (Round 1 Winners)
The top 14 submissions in each category, the quarter-finalists, will be selected and announced through a series of virtual events that will be live-streamed. The quarter-finalists names will also be posted on the awards website.
Successful quarter-finalists will be asked to make a $250 donation to UCSF Health Hub. This tax-deductible donation will subsidize our efforts this summer and fall to help create a first-rate incredible award event experience. This donation is expected to cover 10-15% of our total costs. Non-commercial or pre-funded entities will have this donation waived.
September 15-16: Semi-Finalists Announced (Round 2 Winners)
The top 4 submissions in each category, the semi-finalists, will be selected and announced through a series of virtual episodes that will be live-streamed. The semi-finalists names will also be posted on the awards website.
September 23: Winners Announced at the Grand Finale
The winning companies in each category will be announced and the winning teams will be allotted 2-3 minutes for an acceptance speech, alongside a 30-second video showcasing their product or service. Post-event winners will be sent a digital trophy logo to be used in any marketing materials. Winners will be featured in the UCSF Health Hub Newsletter and receive spotlights by media partners.
